Bio

Subramanian Gopalsamy is a South-Indian artist whose works are inspired by the innocence and intrinsic beauty in a child’s face and the divine power of Indian mythology. He graduated with a Fine Arts degree from the Government College of Arts and Crafts in Chennai. He has received numerous awards, which include the Saudi 3rd, 4th and 6th Malwan GCC Countries Biennale Awards, and the prestigious AIFACS award in 2000. His works comprise multi-layered collages that reinterpret printed images and texts from magazines.
