Bio

Arun Mahizhnan is Director of the Centre for Singapore Tamil Culture and the Chairman of the Intercultural Theatre Institute. He was formerly the Deputy Director of the Institute of Policy Studies and Chairman of the Singapore Festival of Arts. Through these and other positions, he has been contributing towards the development of the arts over four decades. Singapore, to him, has a great potential to be both intercultural and international in cultural thought leadership. Though a tiny red dot, he believes Singapore could create reverberations across vast oceans. He has also published articles and books on media and the arts in Singapore.
