Bio
Anshu Pancholi was born in a small village called Kamlapur within the district Dewas in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Since her childhood, she had a deep leaning towards the arts. She has done her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at the Government Institute of Fine Arts, Indore and her Masters in Painting from Madhav College in Ujjain.
She has exhibited her paintings in two solo shows and several group exhibitions inclusive of the National Art Exhibition, New Delhi and State Art Exhibition in Madhya Pradesh. Her paintings have been exhibited in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Chennai, Jalandhar, Patna, Chandigarh, Ranchi, Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Malaysia and Nepal.
She has taken part in several art camps including the Lalit Kala art camp, New Delhi and several national art camps. She has also received the S. H. Raza state award, the Jayant Rao Tilak award (Pune) and the Abhyuday National Honour. Her paintings are in several private collections in India and abroad.
