Bio
Fawad Tamkanat is born in Hyderabad, in 1962. He works with visual vocabulary to communicate with his viewers, often the narratives involving everyday life observations. An exceptional Indian artist, appreciated by both the western crowd as well as Indians. His themes fluctuate depending upon his explorations and inspirations, sometimes capturing the life in Hyderabad, another time taking women as his subject to creation. He explores and experiments with diverse mediums such as watercolours, acrylic, etching drypoint, and tarpaulin. He has also been part of numerous showcases abroad and has had solo exhibitions both in India and abroad.
