Bio
Kandi Narsimlu is a renowned artist from Hyderabad. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from JNT University, College of Fine Arts and Architecture in Hyderabad as well as Masters’ in Fine Arts from JNA Hyderabad. As a professional artist, he is most well known for his depiction of life in rural Telangana. The village scenes and the villages are the recurring subject of his artworks that are rich in emotion and detail. The references to the culture, tradition, and lifestyle can be deeply felt by the viewers, as the artworks reflect the true essence of rural life, be it the attire, demeanor, or lifestyle.
Throughout his career, he has had several solo shows and over 35 group exhibitions in cities across India. He is also the recipient of many prestigious awards, including a gold medal from The Hyderabad Art Society in 2011. His works are also in the collections of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and the State Bank of India (Hyderabad), to name a few.
